Nature Conservation Day at DPS Gangtok

“Nature nurtures us, it’s our turn to nurture it.”

On the occasion of Nature Conservation Day, the Eco Warrior Club of Delhi Public School, Gangtok conducted a special assembly to encourage students to think about environmental responsibility and sustainable living.

A special highlight of the day was the announcement that the Eco Warrior Club has adopted every plant on the school campus. Throughout the academic session, students will take responsibility for caring for these plants, turning their commitment to nature into meaningful action.

This initiative encourages students to develop a sense of responsibility towards their surroundings and understand that environmental conservation begins with small, consistent efforts. At DPS Gangtok, we believe that education should help students become responsible and aware members of society — a reminder that protecting nature is a shared responsibility, and that every small action can help create a greener tomorrow.
