Delhi Public School, Gangtok celebrated Independence Day with pride, patriotism and youthful enthusiasm. The celebration brought the school community together to honour the spirit of freedom and reflect on the values that shape a responsible and united India.
The programme began with the ceremonial Flag Hoisting, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Inspiring addresses reminded students of the importance of responsibility, unity and contributing positively to the nation.
The celebration also featured patriotic performances, the National Pledge and the felicitation of our young achievers, recognising students for their accomplishments and inspiring them to continue striving for excellence.
For the students, the occasion was an opportunity to celebrate India’s journey while understanding the values of patriotism, responsibility and hope for the future. At DPS Gangtok, we believe that education includes nurturing responsible citizens who understand their role in building a better tomorrow.
