When do admissions open, and for which classes?
Admissions are open for the Academic Session 2027-28, from Nursery through Grade IX, across our Foundation Wing (Nursery-Grade II), Preparatory Wing (Grade III-V), and Secondary Wing (Grade VI-IX).
What is the admission process?
Six simple steps:
  1. Complete the online registration on our website
  2. Receive a call from the Admission Team
  3. Collect the prospectus from school
  4. Submit the completed DPS Gangtok admission form
  5. Appear for the admission test and interview
  6. Complete onboarding formalities once results are declared
What is the age criteria for admission?
Nursery: minimum 3 years • LKG: minimum 4 years • UKG: minimum 5 years • Class I: minimum 6 years (as per the admission year guidelines).
What documents are required for admission?
Birth certificate/Aadhar card of the student, previous school report card, transfer certificate (from LKG onwards), passport-size photographs of student and parents, address proof, parent/guardian ID, and a medical certificate of the child.
What is the DPS Gangtok fee structure?
For classes Nursery to IX: Prospectus ₹3,000 (non-refundable), Admission fee ₹30,000 (non-refundable), Annual fee ₹30,000 (non-refundable), Security deposit ₹15,000 (refundable), and Quarterly fees of ₹24,000 (Nur-VIII) or ₹26,000 (Grade IX), non-refundable.
Does the school provide transport?
Yes. Monthly transport fees range from ₹3,000-₹3,800 depending on the route.
Is day boarding or lunch available?
Yes. Day boarding (including lunch and evening snacks) is available at ₹5,000/month. Lunch alone is ₹2,000/month for Pre-Primary (Nursery-UKG) and ₹2,500/month for Grade I-X.
Is hostel/boarding accommodation available?
Yes. The hostel facility requires a refundable security deposit of ₹15,000 and a monthly fee of ₹17,500.
